LA POPS UP first program in Asia was at ARTSinTANK Dance Festival (ADFK). ADFK is an international contemporary dance platform. It features live stage performances, dance films, workshops, and cross-genre residencies at unique venues like Seoul's Oil Tank Culture Park.

Virginie Combet, head of Cine Corps, created a special dance-film program featuring LA POPS UP and collaborative screendance showcases in early 2026. Special screenings were held at the Cinema Trianon in Romainville, Paris and in Rennes, France.

LA POPS UP filmmakers Sara Silkin and Nina McNeely were selected by The West Hollywood Moving Image Media Art Program (MIMA) for an exhibition series presenting moving image artworks on multiple digital billboards along Sunset Boulevard. At the top of every hour, MIMA engages the diverse perspectives of up-and-coming creators, established innovators, and legendary, celebrated artists.

The KIN International Women’s Film Festival held annually in Yerevan, Armenia, showcases films by female directors from around the world. "Kin" means "woman" in Armenian. The festival addresses gender equality, women's societal roles, and cultural narratives through international features, docs, and short films.

FeFF was way ahead of its time. Since 2001, FeFF has been advocating for gender equity, inclusion, and diversity in the industry. Founder / Artistic and Executive Director Leslie - Ann Coles conceived the Female Eye Film Festival in 2001 having observed that women directors were a minority among directors at the international film festivals she attended with her award winning debut film, "In The Refrigerator."
